Do I need to download webinar software?You do not need to download any webinar software to attend the online classroom. Once you log in to your control panel you will be able to join the live classroom from our websites portal.

Do you hold online classes?Yes, currently all our classes are in live online classrooms, due to social distancing laws across the State of Victoria. This also allows students from outside our region to participate. All online classes will remain online for the duration or their series. Once you enrol in a class you will be given a login for our website. Once you login you are taken to your area with your course/s. Here you will be able to enter your classroom as well as access relevant class resources.

I don't own a camera, what can I do?"For our Photography Composition class you can use your smartphone for the entire course, there is no need to get a camera. If you are enrolling in our Photography Level 2 class you will need a camera that can be operated in manual mode. This course is designed for those who already have a camera that they are wanting to learn how to operate.

Will I need to purchase software?For some courses you will need to have software on your computer. This should be listed in the course description. If you are unsure, please contact us by emailing us at info@castlemainemediaschool.com. We will then get back to you to clarify what is needed.

What's your refund policy?If you are unhappy with your course please email us to discuss resolving your issue.

Will I have assignments to submit?This is course dependent. Most of our courses do have small assignments between the classes to help you put into practice what you have learned that week. Practical assignments throughout the duration of the course help you to apply your knowledge as you learn, so that you leave with a complete understanding of your new learnings.

Do you hold classes in the classroom?We normally hold classes at The Hub in Castlemaine. However, due to Victorias social distancing laws we currently hold all courses in live online classrooms accessed through our websites login page once you have enrolled in a course. When we are able to hold classes at The Hub again we will list this with the information about the location of the course. Some of our classes will still be provided online to allow for those living further away to benefit from our courses and teachers.

I missed an online class, can I get a recording?"Every class is recorded incase you miss a class or just wanted to recap on something that was covered in class. You access them from your control panel once you have logged into our website. While recordings are made available throughout the duration of the course, we do encourage you to attend as many classes as you can in the live classroom. Live interaction with the teacher has many benefits and you are able to ask questions along the way.

How do I pay for a course?Once you click on the Book Now button you will be taken to the enrollment page, once you click on Pay Now you can securely pay by Visa, Mastercard or Paypal.

How do I connect to an online class?You will visit our website, castlemainemediaschool.com, and go to the log in button in the top right of the screen. This will take you to your course/s. In this area is a button to log into the Zoom classroom
